Laptop and I.T Requirements

Students in Years 7 to 12 will be required to bring their own laptop (BYOD), or other approved device to school for educational purposes. There are no I.T. requirements for Primary school students.

Onboarding Process

Windows Onboarding Process

1. Please open a Private or Incognito Browser Window

2. Enter the address - access.kimberley.college and press enter

3. Please review the Terms & Conditions contents and if you are happy to proceed, scroll to the bottom of the window and click the 'Start' button

4. You will then be prompted to sign into your Kimberley College Microsoft Account. Enter your username and then click 'Next'

5. On the next screen, enter your password and then click 'Sign in'

6. Select either Yes or No on the next screen as it does not really matter when you are in Private Browsing mode

7. On the next screen, click the button to 'Download .exe for Windows'

8. Once the download has completed, Run the file and you will see the Cloudpath installer start to load

9. A security warning will pop up asking you to confirm the installation of the Kimberley College security certificate - click on 'Yes' to proceed

10. Once it has successfully completed, you should see the Cloudpath dialogue box with 2 Green ticks at the top

11. You can now proceed to close the installer as well as any Browser Windows that you used as part of this Onboarding Process

12. When you arrive onsite at school next, your device should automatically connect to the 'KCs' Wireless Network

Mac

1. Please open a Private or Incognito Browser Window

2. Enter the address - access.kimberley.college and press enter

3. Please review the Terms & Conditions contents and if you are happy to proceed, scroll to the bottom of the window and click the 'Start' button

4. You will then be prompted to sign into your Kimberley College Microsoft Account. Enter your username and then click 'Next'

5. On the next screen, enter your password and then click 'Sign in'

6. Select either Yes or No on the next screen as it does not really matter when you are in Private Browsing mode

7. On the next screen, click the button that says 'Profile for Mac OS'

8. Once the download has completed, close your Internet browser and open up the System Settings

9. In the Search Field, type Profile and click on 'Install, view or remove configuration profiles'

10. You should see a downloaded Profile called ' KC secure' - double click this and press the Install button at the bottom left-hand side of the dialogue box that comes up

11. Click Install again on the next dialogue box and enter your Macbook password when prompted to complete the installation

12. When you arrive onsite at school next, your device should automatically connect to the 'KCs' Wireless Network
